The term ‘special gear’ refers to any gears that do not correspond to a standard, and that can therefore not be selected from the standard catalogue. As a rule, the necessary requirements in terms of dimensions, torques, speeds, service life, installation positions, design and number of input and output shafts, for example, cannot be met by standard gears, since the use of such gears inevitably means a compromise. Only a “lid manufacturer” can provide you with the right “lid” for your “pot”. Special gears have been specially developed, designed, produced and assembled according to customer requirements.
