Robust gear for the perfect mixing of your materials

Mixer gears

Cover all your special gear needs with Koellmann Gear

Using Koellmann gears, machine and system manufacturers can cover all of their special gear needs. Even the most specialised requirements can be implemented through consulting from the design and production to delivery. This is based on the product expertise that comes with years of experience. Special gears are available with a torque of up to 300,000 Nm and a weight of up to 15 t.

YOUR BENEFITS AT A GLANCE

Mixer gears from Koellmann Gear have been specially developed for the special requirements of mixing systems:

  • Extremely robust design of the gear for a high degree of resistance vis-a-vis impact loads
  • Gear design for use in processing a wide array of materials (e.g. metals, plastics, natural materials, composite materials)
  • Unvarying transfer of power for a highly consistent mixing of materials in 24/7 operation

MIXER GEAR APPLICATIONS

The customer can cover the full range of their needs with these mixer gears, which we develop according to the needs of the user.

Areas of application include, for example, the mixing of

  • Ores
  • Concrete
  • Ceramics
  • Recycled materials

EXTREME DURABILITY

The name, Koellmann Gear, has stood for products of the highest standard since 1904. As a division of Thielenhaus Technologies GmbH, we combine cutting-edge innovations with our many years of experience. In order to better serve our customers, we have consistently set the highest standards when it comes to the wide array of helical gears in use around the globe.

The one and two-stage versions of the mixer gear makes an especially flexible machine use possible. Helical gearing is noise and power optimised, guaranteeing low sound pressure levels and a high degree of efficiency. A rigid monoblock housing design allows even the highest loads to be compensated.

SPECIAL DESIGN FEATURES

The agitators in an intensive mixer are driven by the gears. The gears are installed in the mixing container at 2/3 of the total height. The materials being mixed can reach a temperature of up to 200 °C. The forces that are generated when mixing the materials bare absorbed both axially and radially by special roller bearings that are integrated in the gear. Since the mixing container, including the gear, can be tilted by up to 20°, an oil compensating chamber is integrated into the gear housing in order to ensure optimum lubrication of the gearing and roller bearings. The intensive mixer can be run in 24/7 operation.
